Wives Under Suspicion, the 1938 James Whale romantic love triangle adultery crime thriller (based on the play by Ladislas Fodor; a clever story of a prosecutor trying a case where a man has killed his wife who is having an affair, and it looks like he will get away with it, and then the prosecutor suspects that his own wife is having an affair, and he thinks that he might be able to also kill her and get away with it!) starring Warren William, Gail Patrick, Constance Moore, William Lundigan, Ralph Morgan, Cecil Cunningham, Samuel S. Hinds, and Lillian Yarbo. Note that this movie was a remake of a movie made just five years earlier, "The Kiss Before the Mirror", starring Nancy Carroll, Frank Morgan, and Paul Lukas, and it was also directed by James Whale.
