An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Son of Dracula, the 1943 Robert Siodmak Universal vampire monster horror thriller sequel ("Red Lips Thirsting!"; "Pale Hands Caressing!"; in this sequel, the Count travels from Budapest to the Deep South of the U.S.!; this is the first Dracula movie that shows him transforming into a bat on screen) starring Louise Allbritton, Robert Paige, Evelyn Ankers, Frank Craven, J. Edward Bromberg, Samuel S. Hinds, Adeline De Walt Reynolds, Pat Moriarty, and Lon Chaney Jr. (in the title role as Count Dracula; he is credited on some posters as "Lon Chaney as Count Dracula", though his actual character name in this film is "Count Alucard", which of course is "Dracula" spelled backwards!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. There is apper loss in the middle of the right blank border with staining in the border beneath it. There is a large circular faint brown stain in the lower right of the image covering the man at bottom right, but it is mostly only noticeable in the right blank border. There are some light similar faint brown stains scattered in the rest of the bottom of the card, but they mostly only show in the front in the blank border. There is a pair of staple holes in the top left blank corner and small surface paper loss in the bottom left blank corner. There are some faint smudges and scuffs scattered in the image and there is some darkening in the top blank border. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card! Realize that although the card has the many defects detailed above, but the majority of them are only noticeable in the blank borders, and certainly, the card can be displayed and enjoyed just as it is, or a talented restorer could paperback the card and after proper restoration, it will look fantastic, and it will require very little paint restoration within the image.
