An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Mickey's Tent Show, the 1933 Jesse Duffy juvenile circus comedy ("The screen's little rascal goes into big business!"; one of a series of comedy shorts with "Mickey (himself) McGuire"; "From Fontaine Fox's Famous Cartoon") starring Mickey Rooney (billed as "Mickey McGuire" AND as "Mickey Rooney and His Gang"; in the title role). Note that this is one of 50 "Mickey McGuire" shorts that Mickey Rooney starred in between 1927 and 1933 (he started when he was only six years old!). After 1933, he had a brief "lull" in his career, but he soon resurfaced as a top teen actor, and it was not long before he moved to the top of the box office in his roles in MGM movies, both in the Andy Hardy series, and in musicals with Judy Garland. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny bits of paper loss on the folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
