An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More)

Congo Maisie, the 1940 H.C. Potter (billed as "Henry C. Potter") Africa jungle adventure romantic comedy sequel ("'I wouldn't take you, big boy, if I won you at bingo!'"; "'Okay, I'll put my arms around your neck... but if anything comes of this, remember you started it!'"; the second in the popular Maisie Ravier series) starring Ann Sothern (in the title role as Maisie Ravier), John Carroll, Rita Johnson, Shepperd Strudwick, and Everett Brown. Note that this was a re-make of the classic 1932 film "Red Dust".

Condition: very good. There is a faint slightly diagonal scuff line in the background at top right just touching the edge of the woman-at-right's hair. There are three emulsion scuffs in the background, and one (in the background above the woman's hair) is noticeable. Otherwise, the still is in pretty nice condition!
