Auction History Result DOMO ARIGATO 1sh '72  Lease from Hershenson/Allen ArchiveAn Original Vintage One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More) Arch Oboler's Domo Arigato, the 1972 Arch Oboler 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic adventure melodrama ("3-D Space-Vision"; "A spectacle of Japan in the most amazing visual process ever"; "A Race Against Time with Love in a New Dimension") starring Jason Ledger and Bonnie Sher. Note that Arch Oboler was the man who produced the first 3-D feature film ("Bwana Devil"). Some twenty years later, he made this completely forgotten movie, also in 3-D (probably with a different 3-D process that was intended to revive 3-D movies). Apparently, the movie and the process were not successful (although we do not know for sure), and this proved to be Oboler's final movie.
