We have never auctioned any posters from this movie (only lobby cards and stills) until we received this one-sheet! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The top blank border was unevenly partially trimmed off, ranging from 1/4" to 1/2", but only blank white paper was affected. The poster also had tiny tears and tiny paper loss in the bottom blank border, with small paper loss in the center of the bottom blank border, but again, only blank white paper was affected. There was small paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds, with tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold. It had some tiny bits of paper loss scattered on the vertical fold, with a lesser amount on the horizontal folds. It had some small areas of paper loss in the left edge of the left blank border and at the right end of the horizontal fold, mostly in the right blank border, but slightly extending into the image background. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was linenbacked many years ago by someone who did not use modern methods, and the restoration is noticeable, but it is not very distracting. I would think most collectors would be happy to display this extremely rare poster as it is, or certainly, it could be professionally re-backed. Learn More about condition grades
