Marin romantic comedy ("'Blonde Bonfire' Maisie is in society now!"; the fourth in the popular Maisie Ravier series) starring Ann Sothern (in the title role as Maisie Ravier), Lew Ayres, Maureen O'Sullivan, C. Aubrey Smith, Joan Perry, and Edward Ashley. Note that Joan Perry had been a former model who was discovered by Columbia head Harry Cohn. He put her in a bunch of movies, and then married her, and in 1941, she retired. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines, with pinholes in the corners. There was some faint ink transfer in the white background at bottom. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
