An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 42" [69 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) The Captives, the 1969 Lee Frost sexploitation movie ("From Denmark - the country that gave you films such as Sexual Freedom in Denmark, Fanny Hill, and I Am Curious Yellow has now permitted The Captives") starring Brigit Kroyer, Karl Hansen, Orla Nsu, Leif Betheas, Annelise Detts, and Emil Kjaerum. Note that the tagline and cast indicate that this movie may be Danish, but IMDB claims it was made in the U.S. If true, this would indicate that it was released in the U.S. in 1969 but we have never seen a U.S. poster for the film, only 1974 first release Canadian posters (which may in fact also be the U.S. first release date). If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 27" x 42" [69 x 107 cm]. Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Note that this is one of 55 sexploitation one-sheets which we were recently consigned (we auctioned the first of these over the last three months, and now we continue with another group of them)! The 55 posters are in separate auctions, and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good. The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in a vertical foldline at left and right. It has both crossfold and fold edge separation (see our image).
