Artist: Anselmo Ballester
Important Added Info: Note that this is an original painting by Anselmo Ballester, which was painted on to a heavy board and then professionally framed. We were originally unsure if it was promoting a movie or the actual famous cabaret, but a knowledgeable collector showed us images and it is clear that it is promoting the 1928 film. The new owner of this painting will have a wonderful original Ballester painting to display in their home! Also, note that this will need to be sent in a very large package so bear this expense in mind before bidding.

UPDATED 02/14/2022: Note that we have updated the Important Added Info section.

Condition: very good. There is paper loss in the top right of the painting (which you can see in our image) and a tack hole or nail hole in the upper left corner. Otherwise the painting appears to be in pretty nice condition. There is reside on the bottom right corner of the glass where a sticker was once attached but it could be easily cleaned.
