An Original 1966 Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

The Night Caller (released in the U.S. in 1966 as "Blood Beast From Outer Space"), the 1965 John Gilling English science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller ("UFOs Invade Earth!"; "Space creatures snatch girls to mysterious planet!"; "See: Space monsters defy atomic army!") starring John Saxon, Maurice Denham, Patricia Haines, John Carson, and Jack Watson (Carson and Watson are billed as "Guest Stars"). Note that this movie definitely was released in England in 1965 as "The Night Caller", but we have never auctioned ANY movie paper with that title. When the movie was released on DVD, it was sometimes referred to as "The Night Caller From Outer Space". If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info:

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had darkened unevenly down the center, most noticeable in the light colored areas. It may have been caused by water staining or ink transfer from the dark colored portions when the poster was folded. The poster has tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
