An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Yugoslavian Movie Poster (measures approximately 18" x 27") (Learn More) Rude Boy, the 1980 Jack Hazan & David Mingay English rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) punk rock music pseudo-documentary melodrama ("Grab the future... By its face!"; about an obsessed fan who joins The Clash on tour, and the movie includes footage of actual occurrences at concerts, including demonstrations) featuring The Clash (Mick Jones, Topper Headon, Paul Simonon, and Joe Strummer) and starring Ray Gange (in the title role as "Rude Boy", the obsessed fan, and Gange also wrote the movie!) If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster was folded once in each direction. It had surface paper loss on the foldlines and pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, and any restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster.
