His second term was marred by the Watergate scandal, and facing almost certain impeachment and removal from office, he became the first American president to resign (he was later pardoned for any crimes by President Ford). He was later the subject of the movies Nixon and more recently Frost/Nixon. Nixon passed away in 1994 at the age of 81. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: UPDATED 08/01/2013: We initially listed a date of 1952 but a knowledgeable collector pointed out that this poster is from Nixon's unsuccessful 1960 presidential bid as it mentions his running mate, Senator Henry Cabot Lodge, at the bottom.
