What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had pretty minor wear on the folds. It had many creases and scuffs in the lower part of the woman's hair. It had some tears and tiny paper loss in parts of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, with no restoration, but at some point after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and it acquired creases down the left and right, in the excess linen, and also slightly into the edges of the borders of the poster.
