Also note that this Japanese B1 poster was printed in Japan, but was intended to be used when the movie was shown in English speaking countries. Finally, note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had light staining in the bottom center, mostly in the solid white behind the letters. It had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and pretty minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
