An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 11 1/2"; contains 6 supplements, and 15 stills) (Learn More) Just You and Me, Kid, the 1979 Leonard Stern runaway kid comedy ("The story of two juvenile delinquents."; "Story by Tom Lazarus") starring George Burns, Brooke Shields, Lorraine Gary, "The 'No Shirt' Gang", Leon Ames, Carl Ballantine, Ray Bolger, Keye Luke, and Burl Ives ("as 'Max'"; he was a star football player in high school, and intended to become a football coach, but he didn't complete college, and he had learned the banjo, and he bummed around the country doing odd jobs and street singing in the 1930s!; he became a successful folk singer in the 1940s, and was cast as a singing cowboy in "Smoky" in 1946, billed as "The Singing Troubador", and he alternated between folk singing and acting for the rest of his life; he is likely best remembered for playing the role of "Big Daddy" in the movie version of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", and for his best supporting Oscar winning role in "The Big Country") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN FOUR OF THEM (and we pretty much picked four stills at random). Condition: very good. Note that the vast majority of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are usually in really excellent condition. Sometimes the folder that contains the stills has some wear on it, and you should be able to see that in our super-sized image.
