An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Chaser, the 1938 Edwin L. Marin lawyer legal romantic melodrama ("Watch Out for a gorgeous girl!"; about an ambulance chasing lawyer who will do anything to get a client, and he is not above coaching people to pretend to be more hurt than they were, and he is constantly on the verge of being disbarred) starring Dennis O'Keefe, Ann Morriss, Lewis Stone, Nat Pendleton, and Henry O'Neill. Note that the character of Jimmy McGill in "Better Call Saul" is very similar to the lead character in this movie! Also note that Lana Turner originally was 11th billed in this movie and had a minor part, but it was one of her first real roles. Unfortunately, her scenes were cut from the movie, and her billing was removed, and it would not be for another year before she was really noticed. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds, with some tiny bits of paper loss in the top and bottom quarters of the vertical fold. It had some tiny pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
