An Original Vintage Unfolded World War II Poster (measures 16 1/2" x 19 1/2" [42 x 50 cm]) (Learn More)

Where in Hell is My Gas Mask, the 1940s U.S. World War II (WWII) military safety poster ("Famous last words") encouraging military personal to know where their vital equipment is stored, and featuring S. Dubin art of a soldier searching a bag while an airplane sprays poison gas in the background. Note that this poster was created at Lowry Field (later renamed to Lowry Air Force Base) near Denver, Colorado. Lowry Field served as a United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) training base during World War II.

Important Added Info: Note that we have only once before auctioned an example of this poster (and now that very same poster has been reconsigned to us for this auction, so it is still the only example we have ever auctioned)!

Condition: fair to good. The poster has many creases scattered throughout and there is a tear at lower left (see our image).
