A Signed Autograph Book Page (measures 4" x 6") (Learn More) Eugene Ormandy was a Hungarian conductor and violinist from the 1920s to the 1980s, who became famous as the music director and conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Under his direction, the Philadelphia Orchestra had three Gold Records and won two Grammy Awards. Ormandy passed away in 1985 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Eugene Ormandy! It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer for many years. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both collectors and people who worked on movies, and in some of those collections he purchased many autographed items, and sometimes he met with celebrities and had them autograph items he owned in person. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: very good.
