An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Rimrock Jones, the 1918 Donald Crisp silent Arizona copper mining cowboy western ("By Dane Coolidge"; about a copper miner who is financed by a pretty young stenographer, and he strikes it rich, but then tries to cut her out, and he goes to New York and plays the stock market, and loses everything, and returns penniless, but the stenographer is able to restore his fortune, and he marries her!) starring Wallace Reid (in the title role as Rimrock Jones), Ann Little (as Mary Fortune), Charles Ogle, Paul Hurst, and Guy Oliver. Also note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
