Hear the songs you can't forget!"; "The king and queen of rhythm on a joyous jamboree!"; "Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin"; "See them dance the sensational Piccolino"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Edward Everett Horton, Helen Broderick, Erik Rhodes, Eric Blore, Donald Meek, and Lucille Ball (in a bit part as a flower clerk). Note that this was the one of the nine wonderful movies that Astaire and Rogers made between 1933 and 1939 (they made one final movie, "The Barkleys of Broadway", fourteen years later in 1949). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: What a wonderful candid this is! It shows the composer of the lyrics and music for this movie, legendary Irving Berlin, looking at equally legendary Fred Astaire, who is dressed eloquently with top hat and great shoes! Condition: fair to good. The still has a large snipe on the back, with a small newspaper clipping glued on top of the lower right of it, and a Photofest label glued to the back of the top left of the still. This has caused the front of the still to ripple, and sadly, there are many indentations within the image, caused when someone traced what part of the still they wanted to use for newspaper articles, and they used Astaire's head and shoulders for one image, which is the one glued to the back, and there is also a box around Berlin's figure, which means they used that as well, and there are indentations over Berlin's face. The still has also discolored unevenly, and there is a piece of clear tape over the front and back of the middle of the right border, where there was small paper loss. In spite of all this, it can still be displayed and enjoyed, or certainly, restoration could be performed, but bear all this in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
