Included in this lot is the Christie's "High Noon Western Americana" auction catalog of the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum collection. Also included is a 50-page photocopied prices realized, a stapled selection of many corrections about lots, and three full-color promo brochures for the auction. Note that our consignor attended this 2-day auction, and he says that the auction was a huge success, and that on the second day, they had no more catalogs to sell. He also notes that he went there hoping to get at least one item from the museum, but that when the very first item, the 1943 issue of Life Magazine with Roy on the cover, sold for $1,100, he could easily predict that he would not be able to get anything, and even though he didn't, he still had a really good time, especially watching the crazy bidding!
