Intourist Tashkent, the 1970s Russian travel poster created by the official state travel agency of the Soviet Union to encourage tourists to visit the city of Tashkent. Intourist was founded in 1929 by Joseph Stalin and was staffed by NKVD and later KGB officials. Note that this poster features an image of a people gathering around a fountain.
