Van Dyke (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) California historical romantic melodrama ("They were born to fall in love!"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; it included a recreation of the famous San Francisco earthquake and fire!) starring Clark Gable, Jeanette MacDonald (billed as "Together for the first time in San Francisco"), Spencer Tracy (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Jack Holt, Ted Healy (most famous as the person who started The Three Stooges; they were first billed as "Ted Healy and his Stooges"; he let them go on their own, hiring replacement "Stooges", but that did not work out well at all!), Margaret Irving, and Jessie Ralph NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There are creases in the top corners and the corners are very slightly rounded. There is a small tear in the middle of the left blank border and some faint smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
