An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Standee (measures 25" x 71" [64 x 180 cm]) (Learn More) The Rocketeer (released in Australia as "The Adventures of the Rocketeer"), the 1991 Joe Johnston Walt Disney comic book superhero family science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy adventure thriller ("An ordinary man forced to become an extraordinary hero."; "Based upon the comic book series 'The Rocketeer' created by Dave Stevens"; obviously loosely based on the 1949 serial character from "King of the Rocketmen") starring Bill Campbell (in the title role as Cliff/The Rocketeer), Alan Arkin, Jennifer Connelly, Paul Sorvino, Timothy Dalton, and Ed Lauter NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this cool standee, which has a completely different image from any other advertising for the movie that we have seen (and the Rocketeer is roughly life size)! Because the standee was created on a heavy board, it will need to be shipped in a very large flat package that measures approximately 27" x 37" (because it can be folded in half, as intended when it was created), so incorporate that cost of shipping into your bidding. Condition: good to very good. The standee acquired a water stain in the top left of the lower half (in the yellow and orange area) that has caused staining on the back of the same area as well (if you look at our images of the front and back, you can clearly see where the stain is). Otherwise, the standee is in pretty nice condition. A restorer can certainly restore the stained area in various ways, and that is something best discussed with a restorer before bidding on this extremely rare standee.
