An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 8 1/2" x 11 1/4" [22 x 29 cm]) (Learn More) Liberty, the general interest magazine ("The American Way of Life"; similar to the Saturday Evening Post, and the soon to be published Life Magazine), which was published between 1924 and 1950. It was sort of a combination of those two magazines, with both illustrated stories about the news of the day, plus literary works (they at one time published the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs and other well known pulp magazine authors). At its peak, it was considered the second most successful magazine of its type next to the Saturday Evening Post. Artist: Victor Tchetchet Important Added Info: Note that this magazine has one of the coolest and "longest" headlines ever! It says "Hitler Planning to Be Kind to the Jews?", and it contains "the first interview he has ever given to an American magazine", and in it he tells the most outrageous lies. Of course, we know what his actual plans were! Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine, and the contents page lets you know exactly what articles and stories are contained in this particular issue. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided. Condition: good. There is staining around the edges with some tiny paper loss in the borders of the cover. Learn More about condition grades
