C-3PO is a fictional science fiction (sci-fi) humanoid robot character created by George Lucas. Built by Anakin Skywalker, C-3po was designed as a protocol droid to assist in translation, customs, and etiquette. He has appeared in all nine films of the Star Wars film franchise, played by Anthony Daniels. Note that C-3PO and R2-D2 are the only characters to appear in every film!
