An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Lady in the Lake, the 1947 Robert Montgomery detective mystery crime film noir ("MGM presents a Revolutionary motion picture The most amazing since Talkies began!"; "You and Robert Montgomery solve a murder mystery together!"; "MGM presents You and Robert Montgomery in Lady in the Lake"; "Based on the novel by Raymond Chandler"; this was a "gimmick" movie; the lead actor is not shown, and the entire movie is seen from his point of view!; the only time you see him is in mirrors; this was a pretty lame idea, and it is not surprising it was only done once!; oddly, MGM shows Montgomery in the lobby cards; perhaps they were already afraid of the wacky premise prior to its release!) starring Robert Montgomery (as Phillip Marlowe), Audrey Totter, Lloyd Nolan, Tom Tully, Leon Ames, and Jayne Meadows NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. There is faint darkening around the extreme outer edges of the blank borders. There is a tiny bit of paper loss in the center of the top blank border and a pinhole in the top right corner.
