An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Teaser One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Woodstock, the classic 1970 Michael Wadleigh documentary of the legendary rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) music concert festival ("peace"; "people"; "love"; "grass"; "music"; "America"; "Three days of peace, music... and love"; "No one who was there will ever be the same. Be there."; "This way to Woodstock... the movie"; "Sit on"; "[with a little help from our friends.]") featuring Joan Baez, Joe Cocker, Country Joe & the Fish, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Arlo Guthrie, Richie Havens, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, John Sebastian, Sha-na-na, Sly and the Family Stone, Ten Years After, The Who, and "400,000 other beautiful people". Note that few people know that the "supervising editor" for this movie was Martin Scorsese! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a teaser one-sheet (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). Note that I (Bruce Hershenson) have been searching for this poster to auction for over 20 years, ever since I first learned of its existence! At that time, I saw images of three different advance posters, one showing attendees on a car, one showing a close up of a hand holding a marijuana joint, and this one, with the black man walking with an umbrella. Over the years, I found several of the "car" teaser, and in 2013 I was consigned the one with the hand (and it sold for $1,725) but I had never auctioned this poster, and I was beginning to wonder if I ever would be consigned one. However, I have now been consigned this poster, and it may be twenty more years before we are consigned one again! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has two partial, light diagonal creases (one approximately 6" under the top edge and one at center) but they only slightly extend into the image areas (where they are not very noticeable or distracting). There are some faint smudges at upper left and a few creases at lower right. There is a single tiny tear in the bottom blank border, and a few light creases scattered in various areas, but otherwise the ultra rare poster is in pretty nice condition!
