An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

The Strange World of Planet X (released in the U.S. as "Cosmic Monsters"), the 1958 Gilbert Dunn English science fiction (sci-fi) arachnid horror thriller ("Every second your pulse pounds they grow foot by incredible foot!"; "Shock by incredible shock this ravaging death overruns the Earth... Menacing mankind with overwhelming chaos!"; "When men of different planets unite to combat the most loathsome peril the universe has ever known!"; based on the novel by Rene Ray) starring Forrest Tucker, Gaby Andre, Martin Benson, Alec Mango, and Wyndham Goldie. Note that while this movie was released in England in 1958 as "The Strange World of Planet X", we have never auctioned any movie paper item from that release. Confusingly, it was also released in 1958 as simply "The Strange World" and we have seen English newspaper ads with this title. If anyone has any English movie paper, please e-mail us an image!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good. There is much paper loss at lower left (see our image). There is some minor rippling in some edges, but otherwise the image area itself is in pretty nice condition, and after some proper restoration it would look great (but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.)
