Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). There was a 2" high of paper glued to the back of the top edge. The poster also had a small tear in the upper left border and a foreign stamp in the bottom right corner. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
