Hogan Universal science fiction (sci-fi) monster horror thriller ("A new sensation in horror!"; "Original Story by Hans Kraly"; a wacky story of a scientist who discovers an "ancient Mayan nerve gas", and when his assistant is exposed to it, he becomes a mindless ghoul who needs to eat human hearts to stay alive) starring Turhan Bey, Evelyn Ankers, David Bruce (in the title role as The Mad Ghoul), George Zucco, Milburn Stone, Robert Armstrong, and Rose Hobart

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had paper loss at the crossfolds, with some paper loss in the vertical foldline just above the middle crossfold, extending into the bottom of the "L" of "GHOUL". There were some tears and tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of the vertical foldline, and in the right end of the top horizontal fold. There were pinholes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
