We previously auctioned a different Italian two-panel with a completely different image, and that was 8 years ago (that poster sold for $2,030!)! Obviously, Ava Gardner was a major draw in Italy at this time, because Grace Kelly was entirely left off this poster (and the other poster we auctioned had solely Ava Gardner, with no Gable or Kelly)! Also note that this is a teaser Italian two-panel (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases and tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
