If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster is an "international" style one-sheet (meaning it was printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). There was an international style that looks the same as the domestic one-sheet, and then there is this international style, which has completely different artwork that is much more striking than the image on the domestic one-sheet. This poster is also far more rare than the domestic one-sheet. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It also had tiny creases in the top quarter of the vertical fold. It had pinholes in three corners and paper loss in the top left corner that extremely slightly entered the top left of the "W" and even more slightly touched the top left corner of the image. The poster also had a faint New Zealand rating stamp in the bottom left solid white area. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can slightly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, and the restorer left alone the faint rating stamp described above. It is not very distracting, but any talented restorer could certainly touch up that area without re-backing the poster. Learn More about condition grades
