4 Original Vintage Theatrical Italian Photobusta Movie Posters (measure 13 1/2" x 19 1/2") (Learn More)

The Beast of the City, the 1932 Charles Brabin pre-Code romantic crime melodrama (about a very dedicated policeman in an unnamed big city, who knows that a notorious gangster runs all the crime in the city, and he wants to bring that man down, but his job gets complicated when his younger brother falls for a beautiful blonde who has ties to the Mob, played by a very young Jean Harlow) starring Walter Huston, Jean Harlow, Wallace Ford, Jean Hersholt, Dorothy Peterson, Tully Marshall, and Mickey Rooney

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that these ultra-rare 1932 Italian photobustas are printed on a heavyweight paper stock, similar to that of U.S. window cards of the same period, and NOT the lightweight paper stock that would be used for Italian photobustas from the late 1940s to the present day. Also, note that each of the cards was printed with the exact same image, and with a black rectangular area in the lower left, and that eight different scenes from the movie were glued to that area, to create a set of 8 photobustas (this was commonly done in Italy at this time, but very few of these 1930s photobustas survive).

Condition: very good. Each of the photobustas has nail holes in the borders (evenly spaced around the edges of the photobusta), but are otherwise in pretty good condition!
