Over the years he would attend collectible shows where comedy celebrities appeared (including the child stars who appeared as adults), and he would purchase autographs from them in person. He also collected a few autographs by buying them from collectors or dealers through the mail, but all of them were obtained many years ago, and both he (and we) believe the autograph on this item to surely be authentic.
