Seiter Mexico drug smuggling crime film noir thriller ("Story and Screenplay by Devery Freeman"; about a U.S. drug lord hiding out in Mexico, and a beautiful Los Angeles detective is sent to work undercover to bring him back, and there is a second detective also working undercover, but neither knows about the other!) starring Fred MacMurray, Claire Trevor, Raymond Burr, Jose Torvay, Morris Ankrum, Roy Roberts, and Don Diamond NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare style B half-sheet poster for this movie. We have never auctioned this particular style in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has some creases and light smudges around the edges, and there are some tiny blank border tears at right and a slightly larger one at left (that is repaired with brown paper tape from the back). There are some partial horizontal creases at upper left that slightly extend into Trevor's arm and there are a few light scuff marks. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it could certainly be displayed and enjoyed as is, or after a pretty simple paperbacking the poster would look great! Learn More about condition grades
