Note that Dick Powell & Joan Blondell were married the year this movie was made. Also note that Warner Bros. had a giant hit in 1933 with "Gold Diggers of 1933", and they made a sequel to it two years later called, naturally, "Gold Diggers of 1935", which was followed by this third movie.
