An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Affair in Trinidad, the 1952 Vincent Sherman Caribbean romantic love triangle murder crime film noir ("Rita Hayworth is back with her 'Gilda' co-star Glenn Ford"; "'You weren't the first... and you won't be the last!'"; "Don't tell Me I'm just one more!"; "Those 'Gilda' stars again in Affair in Trinidad"; about a nightclub singer and her brother-in-law who try to find her husband's killer) starring Rita Hayworth ("is back!"; "is back with her 'Gilda' co-star"; "She's Back!"), Glenn Ford ("her 'Gilda' man"), Alexander Scourby, Valerie Bettis, Torin Thatcher, and Juanita Moore NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the snipe on this still tells that Rita Hayworth's "bump shot" was selected as the "sexiest and most provocative motion picture still ever made"! Also note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. Normally, this was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby. However, this snipe was glued on so that the written portion is only readable when the snipe is folded over the bottom of the still, which slightly defeats this purpose (although one can see the top of the still and the snipe at the same time, which could not be done if the snipe was glued on the back). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL! Note that there is a stamp on the back of the still (from the photo service that distributed it).
