An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Me and My Gal, the 1932 Raoul Walsh New York City romantic crime comedy (about a tough New York cop who is in love with a pretty waitress, but her scatterbrained sister is involved with a mobster) starring Spencer Tracy (very young in this role!), Joan Bennett, Marion Burns, George Walsh, and J. Farrell MacDonald. Note that this is a remake of the English movie "Squibs", which was released in the U.S. as "Me and My Gal" in 1921 NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this title card is extremely rare. We have never auctioned it before, and we have never auctioned ANY lobby cards from this movie! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The card had tiny pinholes and some faint smudges around the edges. Overall, the card was in very good condition prior to restoration. A talented restorer gel backed the card (meaning they backed the card onto a gel material) and they then performed excellent restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the card still exactly looks and feels like an original card (and it is!), with no backing at all.
