An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Planet Outlaws, the 1953 repackaging of "Buck Rogers", the 1940 Ford Beebe & Saul A. Goodkind science fiction (sci-fi) outer space action serial ("Atomic war comes from outer space!"; "Earth invaded in atomic war!"; "Based on the Buck Rogers Newspaper feature"; "Original cartoon strip by Dick Calkins and Phil Nolan") starring Buster Crabbe (billed as "Larry [Buster] Crabbe"), Jackie Moran, Constance Moore, Henry Brandon, Jack Mulhall, Anthony Warde, C. Montague Shaw, William Gould, Philson Ahn (brother of Philip Ahn; it must have been tough when both Phils were boys and their mom yelled out "Phil!"), Roy Barcroft, and Wheeler Oakman. Note that this is not a "re-release", because additional footage was filmed and added to portions of the original 1940 serial!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tears and small areas of paper loss in the vertical fold between the top and bottom crossfolds, and in the bottom horizontal fold, with a lesser amount of wear on the other horizontal folds. It had pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
