An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Style B Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Golden Twenties, the 1950 RKO documentary (about the 1920s; "Highlighting America's 'Jazz Age' by actual films seen in the period"; "The fabulous decade when we came of age!"; "A Full-Length Feature"; "See hundreds of people you know about!") featuring five segments, each narrated by different celebrities in those areas: those narrators are billed as "as told by", and they are Frederick L. Allen ("Manners and Customs"), Robert Q. Lewis ("Stage, Screen, and Broadway"), Allen Prescott ("Lighter Moments"), Red Barber ("Sports"), and Elmer Davis ("Politics"). The movie was produced by The March of Time. The poster shows an image of a boxing match, a baseball player and catcher, a speakeasy, a gangster shooting a machine gun at police, a big band with a singer with a megaphone, and a Wall Street tycoon looking at a ticker tape. Important Added Info: Note that this half-sheet has full-color images of Babe Ruth, Will Rogers, Rudolph Valentino, Helen Morgan, Calvin Coolidge, and Enrico Caruso! Also note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press.
