An Original Vintage Autographed 8" x 10" Personality Still (Learn More) Billy Wilder was a famous director and writer from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of his movies include: Sabrina (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Sunset Blvd, Some Like It Hot (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Double Indemnity, The Apartment, Witness for the Prosecution, and Stalag 17 (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film). He certainly produced more great hits (and ones of truly enduring high quality) than almost any other director! He passed away in 2002 at the age of 95. Important Added Info: This 8x10 still has been personally autographed (signed) by director Billy Wilder (it was given to Peter Bankers, an executive at Paramount Studios in the 1970s, and may well have been signed at that time)! Note that this still (and the other autographed stills we are selling) came either from collectors who obtained them in person or who purchased them from reputable autograph dealers. I have no way of proving their authenticity, but I have examined them closely, and I feel certain these are all 100% authentic!
