An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style B Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More) El Magnifico Extranjero (literally translates to "The Magnificent Stranger"), the 1966 Justus Addiss & Herschel Daugherty cowboy western (edited from two episodes of the 1959-1965 TV series "Rawhide") starring Clint Eastwood (as Rowdy Yates), Louis Hayward, Lloyd Corrigan, Luana Anders, Robert Donner, Paul Brinegar, and Holly McIntyre. Note that Clint Eastwood had starred in the TV series "Rawhide" for its entire run. During that time, he went to Europe and made the spaghetti westerns that made him a superstar. A clever distributor bought the rights to two episodes of the Rawhide TV show and released them as a feature film called "The Magnificent Stranger", and tried to lure in moviegoers thinking that it was another Eastwood spaghetti western! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Franco Fiorenzi Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at just a few crossfolds and a very few creases, scuffs, and tiny tears on parts of some foldlines. There was a 4" diagonal crease starting from the middle crossfold and extending to the lower left, above Eastwood's eye, but it is not very noticeable at all.
