eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 5x0480 LOT OF 3 MOSTLY FORMERLY FOLDED RANDOLPH SCOTT & BUDD BOETTICHER INSERTS 1950s westerns! Date Sold 1/21/2024Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. A lot of 3 mostly formerly folded inserts from Randolph Scott and Budd Boetticher movies. Randolph Scott was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s (although he had some uncredited roles in the very late 1920s). He played a wide variety of roles in the 1930s, but later in his career starred mostly in cowboy western movies. He had a very memorable final role in Ride the High Country, opposite Joel McCrea! Some of his other movies include: Seven Men From now, My Favorite Wife, The Tall T, and Ride Lonesome. Most people believe that he was a gay man, but because of the attitudes of the time, he had to "remain in the closet" (and there are some who dispute that he was gay; he was married twice, and had two adopted children, but also lived with Cary Grant for twelve years!). Scott passed away in 1987 at the age of 89. AND Budd Boetticher was a top Hollywood director from the 1930s to the 1960s with movies such as The Tall T, Ride Lonesome, Comanche Station, Buchanan Rides Alone, The Killer Is Loose, and Seven Men from Now. He passed away in 2001 at the age of 85. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1950s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them.
