Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The trimming of the top slightly affected the top edge of the image. The poster had some tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines and around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the person who backed it just attached a thin strip of blank paper over the top edge of the poster, thus eliminating the slight paper loss that it covers (see our image).
