An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 8 1/2" x 10 3/4" [22 x 27 cm]) (Learn More) Screen Album, one of the many movie magazines sold to the public. This was a quarterly publication that began in 1935 and ran into the 1940s. The magazine features "exclusive portraits and intimate true stories of Hollywood's most glamorous stars", and contains large images of stars on a single page with a portrait of that star, plus a two-page feature story on a single star and an index at the end of the magazine giving stars' birth date, birth city, height, weight, eye and hair color, how many kids, spouse or girlfriend/boyfriend, studio, form of profession, last four movies, what they are "nuts about", "most important event last year", and "believe it or not"! Note that at some point in the 1950s, the magazine drastically changed format, which more closely resembled other fan magazines of the day, except that most pages had a large image of a star and a story about that star, which was similar to the earlier format. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine in the top left of our image, a picture of the table of contents page in the top right of our image, and a picture of one interior two-page spread in the bottom of our image (chosen pretty much at random!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine, and the contents page lets you know exactly what articles and stories are contained in this particular issue. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided. Condition: good to very good. Note that we have attempted to check to see if the magazine is complete and uncut, and we believe that it is. However, there is a slight possibility that we might have missed a small cut or a page that was neatly removed, and if that happens, you can return the magazine. We have solely provided an overall description of the condition of the magazine, but you can also refer to our super-sized images. Please bid (or not bid) based on that overall grade and by viewing the super-sized images. Learn More about condition grades
