An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]) (Learn More)

When Ladies Meet, the 1933 Harry Beaumont & Robert Z. Leonard author romantic love triangle comedy (about a female writer who is attracted to her married publisher, and a guy who wants her introduces her to the wife of the publisher, without letting her know who she is, and so she becomes good friends with the wife of the man she wants to have an affair with!) starring Ann Harding, Robert Montgomery, Myrna Loy, Alice Brady, Frank Morgan, and Sterling Holloway (in an uncredited role as Jerome the caddy)

Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been greatly trimmed and it now measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]. Why did someone cut off slightly less than half of the card? There is a sad answer. On the back of the card are glued some newspaper ads, and someone wrote "THURS-SEPT-17-1936" above them, so obviously, that person used this part of a card to advertise their upcoming schedule in 1936, and they used this then three year old lobby card! You would think they would have found something else to use, but of course, in 1936, no one thought old lobby cards were worth much of anything, which is why so few survive! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: poor. Only part of the lobby card survives, and it has three punch holes in the left. But what is present is a great portrait of young Myrna Loy. Please bear in mind this major defect before placing a bid.
