An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Prisoner of Zenda, the 1922 Rex Ingram European royalty adventure thriller ("From Edward Rose's stage play and Sir Anthony Hope's novel"; about the king of a mythical country who is kidnapped by his half-brother, but a visiting nobleman who is an exact duplicate of the king arrives, and he is convinced to take the place of the king, and that is complicated by the king's love falling for the imposter!) starring Ramon Novarro (in a dual role as Rudolf Rassendyll and as Rupert of Hentzau), Lewis Stone, Alice Terry, Robert Edeson, Barbara La Marr, and Lois Lee. Note that the 1937 version of this movie starring Ronald Colman and Madeleine Carroll is very well remembered, but this earlier silent version is almost completely forgotten today! Finally, note that director Rex Ingram is no relation whatsoever to Rex Ingram the actor (likely best remembered as the genie in 1940's "The Thief of Bagdad")!
