Zanuck; a highly fictionalized biography of Ferdinand de Lesseps, the man behind the building of the Suez Canal) starring Tyrone Power Jr. (as Ferdinand de Lesseps), Loretta Young, Annabella, J. Edward Bromberg, Joseph Schildkraut, Henry Stephenson, Sidney Blackmer, Sig Rumann, Maurice Moscovich, Nigel Bruce, Miles Mander, and George Zucco NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good. There is considerable staining on the cardboard holder and there is staining in the top right corner of the glass that extends into the "Z" of "SUEZ", but not into the rest of the image. The theater that used this slide wrote the words "SUN - MON. JAN 15-16" in the playdates section at the bottom of the glass. Learn More about condition grades
