Date Sold 9/4/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 19 mostly 1980s miscellaneous comic books from X-Men (also known as The Uncanny X-Men), the comic book superhero team created by Stan Lee & Jack Kirby in 1963 for Marvel Comics. The original members of the X-Men (who were teenage "mutants", brought together by an older professor) were Dr. Xavier (Professor X), The Cyclops, The Beast, Angel, Marvel Girl, and Iceman. In 1975, Len Wein and David Cockrum started an all new X-Men, with entirely different characters (except for Cyclops), and the most popular was Wolverine, who became a solo hero as well, and that led to renewed success for the superhero team. The X-Men franchise has spread to almost all forms of media including books, television shows, and several films. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: each measures approximately 6 3/4" x 10 1/4"Please note that we don't use a "comic guide" grading system, and OUR grading scale is completely different from standard comic book grading. Our "very good" is completely different from a comic book graded "very good". We provide images of the comic book covers, which should allow you to get a sense of the condition of the comics in this bulk lot.
